What is V-Chip?

V-Chip is an indispensable product for obtaining results of viscosity
measurement  involving the use of the Viscore™.

This chip is a core component developed with the lab-on-a-chip
design, from years  of research, and enables the Viscore™ to measure
viscosity with great effectiveness.

Viscosity is determined by measuring the relative viscosity between
the reference fluid and sample fluid. This chip enables measurement
with a small quantity of fluid (0.5cc) and consists of lab-on-a-chip,
syringe, and mounting case. Lab-on-a-chip was built with 150
microfluidic channels (50μm), allowing viscosity to be measured with
high precision and replication.

Ease of use

• Inject 0.5cc PBS, the reference fluid, into the slot in the Dual-Syringe fitted to the chip set.
• Inject 0.5cc fluid intended for measurement in a different slot in the Dual-Syringe.
• When the Viscore™ is activated, operate the system following the order of data below, which has been automatically fed.

Power Button

Pressing this button will shift the mode from standbyto operational, to execute VISCORE™ functions,followed by powering up the built-in constant temperature system prior to measurement. Pressing this button again during use will stop the VISCORE Meter.

Operation Button

Measurement can start by pressing this button whilethe VISCORE™ protocol is being executed. Pressing this button at any time during the measurement will pause the system. Pressing the button a second time will resume the measurement.
